The project was initiated in two phases. Phase 1 was the master planning of the new laydown yard and the design and construction of all storage buildings, the shop, offices and meeting space.
Phase 2 was the design of new corporate offices for Key Constructors at the new yard. The design of the office was initiated in January 2020. T program the new office to accommodate the existing staff and future growth. The construction documents and put out to bid on time May 2021. Estimated construction cost was $3.3 Million. The owner has elected to not proceed with construction at this the office site was prepared during Phase 1.
dunaway/Williams was hired to design new facilities for Key Constructors. Phase 1 was master planning the new laydownyard, as well as the design and construction of all storage buildings, the shop, offices and meeting space for maximum efficiency. dunaway/Williams worked with the owner’s attorney for rezoning the property for industrial use, and then they worked with the owners to program and provide construction documents for all buildings on the site.
